Welcome to Heartspring's monthly eNewsletter
Once again we are at the beginning of a new school year. Kids are anticipating the start of classes and in many cases, a new teacher and home room. Many parents find themselves with a list in hand buying a new backpack and supplies for each child to begin the new year.

Though Heartspring operates year-round, during the month of August we look to start fresh with supplies for the classrooms and residential homes. To learn more about items that would help make this school year brighter for Heartspring students, check out our school supplies wish list.

Ariah easily transitions from activity to activity without anxiety. Learn more about Ariah's transition.
Austin

Austin is six years old, and like many other children his age, he is preparing to go to school as a first grader. The difference for Austin is that there is a great deal of preparation work for him, his family and his school before his first day. Austin's Mom talks about transitioning to the first grade.

Melanie will never speak, she will never entertain us with clever thoughts and words, but Heartspring has molded her into a productive member of society." Hear more from Melanie's Mom, Sue

Heartspring Team
Taton

My students have beautiful and unique personalities. Working with them and the paraeducators and all the professionals on each team is an enjoyable part of the job. It is always refreshing and challenging to work with those individuals who strive to give independence to our students.
